I get a lot of emails asking me ‘Whats the easiest way to lose weight’?

Especially recently as we have been getting great results at the studio and in our fitness camps and its nearly summer and suddenly the holiday is ever closer.

In all honesty, losing weight is easy….

It’s keeping it off most people find difficult!

That’s mainly due to the fact that most men and women embark on a ‘diet’ to lose weight then revert back to ‘normal’ eating when they’ve reached their goal.

Thats why I don’t use the word “diet”. It instils the mindset of change and taking away.

Change yes, but adding is where the magic lies. What are you going to support your body with that will enable it to thrive.

 You see, the truth is our ‘normal’ way of eating is making us fatter!

There’s never been more choice of low fat, no fat, zero carb, “healthy choice” type of foods in our supermarket yet obesity levels in the UK are rapidly rising.

Nutrition is key for health.

Nutrition is key to fat loss, I’m talking about going back to basics and ditching all those ‘convenience’ foods that most people are using these day.

Supplying your body with the ‘nutrients’ it needs is the most effective way to lose weight and keep it off.

Eating nutrient rich foods is easy….

Shoot for:

organic proteins – chicken, turkey, beef, fish
good fats – avocado, coconut oil, oily fish
fruit – berries, apples and pears
nuts – almonds, brazils and cashews
greens greens and more greens – veg such as kale, brocolli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, spinach, watercress & cabbage are the best veg for fat loss

There are of course other factors that determine the amount of body fat you have but the very first thing you should address is what you ‘feed’ your body with, get this right and you will see an improvement in your health which means you will see a decrease in your weight
