The Struggle: Part 1

I wanted to share this ladies struggle and journey with you……… I found it inspiring!

By the way she is a mum, she has a job and was very stressed.

I saw Matt’s advert for a 21 day trial of a new fitness regime and instantly wanted to apply.

I have heard lots of great things from people who have previously worked with Matt, and how great the set up is and that it doesn’t matter what fitness level you are at because the routine adapts to each individual.

By partaking in the 21 days I wanted to get my health and fitness back on track, and make changes to my lifestyle that would last and that could be shared with my family.

I was certain that Matt would help me to produce some great results as even after a 5 minute chat with him you can tell he knows his stuff inside out, and lives and breathes it himself, what better example could you need?

I had previously done various diets, gym memberships and exercise videos all of which produced just small results that was hard to maintain.

I found it hard to find the right balance of control to keep anything going for any great length of time.

I also see now that I was only ever addressing either the “diet” or the exercise and neither together.

The diets were also not enjoyable.

The foods and meal plans felt very restricted and not always satisfying to the palette, they also would still allow you to include things that are not part of a healthy diet, so you end up kidding yourself that these “bad” things are ok for you.

My energy levels before I started this were quite low.

I relied heavily on numerous coffees to get me through the day. If I wasn’t drinking coffee, I drank tea, never water.

Before my first session I was anxious but really excited.

I knew this was it, my best chance of doing something that actually works and would be a long term change not just a quick fix.

I wasn’t entirely sure how well I would cope, especially as I was going from no exercise to a training session 3 times a week, but had heard from another member that it wouldn’t matter.

Matt’s programme is great as he provides you with all the support you could need. He gives you numerous, tasty recipes (and I mean actually tasty) and a lot of structure to your foods and supplements explaining the why behind what you are putting into your body and the importance of when you do it too!

I have stuck to this plan so strictly these last 21 days that it has now become a normal routine to be planning my meals using Matt’s nutritional plan.

It has to be your decision that this is going to be a change for life and not just something to try for a month then forget.

It won’t work.

I was cheeky and had a sneaky bit of pudding and half glass of wine when the 21 days had finished, the next day my stomach felt awful, it just wasn’t worth it. I now don’t want to have a sneaky pudding as the nice taste for 2 minutes is just not worth it!

So, my results, after just 21 days I have lost 7.6 lbs and 7 1/2 inches!

My energy levels have increased, I no longer have any caffeine – and don’t look for it – and my skin looks fresher than it has for a long time.

Many members of my family and work colleagues have commented on my weight loss and how well I’m looking at the moment, even if they didn’t know I was on Matt’s programme.

I didn’t expect that in just 21 days I would feel such an improvement in my body and movements.

I can go upstairs without slowing in pace or feeling any breathlessness, my legs almost feel like they glide me long now instead of feeling my muscles with every step. I also did not expect that my stomach would feel so different from changing what I eat. I have no stomach cramps or bloating after any meals, but still manage to feel satisfied from them.

My experience has opened my eyes to how healthily I can eat and how tasty that food can be.

Healthy doesn’t mean boring.

Likewise it has highlighted to me how easily the 40 minute workout can fit into your life, I found the early morning sessions great as it was completed in time to be back home and get into the normal morning routine. It also soon felt like the norm as it was 3 times a week so was frequent enough to become routine.

Massive thank you to Matt and the team, I am amazed at the work you do and the effort you out in and would recommend to anyone who really wants to make a change, go for it!

How cool is that!

It could be you next!

Have a great day,

Matt ☺
