The 8 Mistakes Of The Fitness Enthusiast & Weight Loss Warrior

Hey ,

Don’t worry I have made a few mistakes too….. but I

think it would

be unethical if I didn’t point this out to you and
your friends too…………

we have an EXPERIENCE week that we holding next
week…check the link at the bottom for that ……

The key to getting RESULTS is

very simple put some people climb all the way to the top only to realise

they have put their ladder against the wrong wall!

They didn’t know where they wanted to end up….

I liken the person who is desperate for help in
improving their

health to the lost Everest Climber.

If you were lost up there, you wouldn’t just keep
walking hoping to

find the answer, taking random stabs at what MIGHT be
the best

route…..surely…… so why do that with your
health…… random faddy

diets, random workouts that are everywhere and no
clear idea of

where you want to go.

The 8 Mistakes Of  The Fitness Enthusiast &
Weight Loss Warrior

1. Dogs and Bones-

It seems that we view happiness like our dogs bone. We
throw it

into the distance and hope to fetch it every now and
again.

Why not find out what truly makes you happy and then
do it more

often than not , day in day out! It seems unhealthy to
become

destination centric…….why not enjoy the journey to
it…….

2. Often the problem is not the problem.

People often think that losing weight is a
problem. The problem is

not losing weight, it’s the random exercise classes,
the lack of a

structure to the exercise programming that you get
with these

sporadic events, starvation diets and often based
around the

calories in calories out theory and a complete lack of
simple and

effective education and support around this.

3. Goal Setting-

yep one of the best things you can do BUT also totally
worthless if

the person’s mindset doesn’t allow them to take
actions that are

healthy in terms of achieving their goals. This is why
so many

people start to self sabotage when they start to
achieve.

When can I go back to only doing random sessions,
eating cakes

again?………. It’s a mindset shift.

Don’t get me wrong its not about eating broccoli all
the time…..but

the mindset of when can I go back to….makes no
sense.

4. Slapping them the first time you meet them

Having the strictest diet and the hardest most INSANE
workouts is

madness!

Its like slapping a person in the face the first time
you meet

them. One of the main reasons that  in our newest
nutritional

system we don’t tell people what they cant eat, we
just tell them

what they can.

Another reason why, we don’t do random sessions, and
we only let

members join in week one of our group
programmes.

5. You follow an instructor not a Coach

Yep,  no disrespect to Zumba instructors, but
really that is and

never will be fitness. One of the reasons why I got
out of the

leisure center environment about 10 years ago (when I
was 17) was

is because it was all about following a set of
guidelines  and

following like a sheep and not creating or meeting
people where

they are at.

6. Clarity Precedes change.

Its true, very few people know what nutrition they
need. They don’t

know about the key lifestyle habits that increase
energy and reduce

fat storage. They don’t know about proper
periodization of a

training programme  because they are being fed
random workouts,

random faddy diets and flash in the pan solutions
focused on the

destination not the process.

Ask yourself WHY……

7. More people are Aware but less pay attention

Actually being aware is very different to paying
attention. I am

aware that the UK is in the worst state of health that
it ever has

been, but doing nothing about it, doesn’t neccesarily
mean I have

paid attention. By taking deliberate action on this
means I am

paying attention.

You know how it is…..you are aware that I have
mentioned about the

benefits of green veggies for fat loss and when to
foam roll to

improve your movement. But paying attention to which
green veggies

and how to foam roll is very different.

8. Treat your health and fitness like the martial arts
dude.

If you wanted to lose ½ a stone or 2 dress sizes,
check out the

mentality of the martial arts member.

When they join, they are not just there to get a brown
belt, they

are there for life!

Health and Fitness is no different…….it’s yours to
make the most of

for life, not just 4 weeks before you go on holiday!

The path is better than the end , so enjoy it!
