Small Victories, Me Fighting & The Detox

Hey ,

Going from A to B is not always simple right……particularly when

you have family, businesses, jobs, relationships and children to

look after.

—-Please before we get going here this is not me preaching or any

BS like that because that is really not my style….in fact I HATE

that stuff!—-

BUT…..I am lucky to see people achieve very cool things each day…

Now unfortunately from time to time I too get lost…..I  think

when  you know where you want to go its a WHOLE lot easier BUT

I certainly put huge pressure on myself to achieve!

A bit like you do I am sure from time to time……..

We might call ourselves some of these:

Proactive,

Go Getters,

Ambitious,

Grafters,

Thick skinned…..

Yet sometimes its nice to be chill a little and be………..

Laid back,

Contempt,

and perhaps slightly vulnerable.

Recently I’ve felt as though I’ve had to FIGHT with a few

things…….

The council planning committee,

My skills,

the fact I care so much about the people I work with,

Fulfilling an unwavering passion for progress.

oh and if I was more aggressive, it appears that a gentleman in

Tavistock ( a town near me) was obviously jealous of my bike might

have challenged me after his moment of road rage on saturday!

I think he is either lacking vitamin C (problem with high blood pressure),

or his smoking has caused his girlfriend only kiss him on the cheek!

Back to it……

But I took some time over the last 2 weeks to think……

Just to breathe…….. and I have accepted and learn’t this:

It’s about small victories each day……..  because when we chase

big dreams it gets hard on the days when you don’t achieve or

do life changing things….. you can feel like your treading

water……..but when you know what you want, where you want to be

and what makes you happy you can take deliberate action each day.

And…… I find that a lot of inspirational thoughts and actions

are born in a place of stillness……a place that requires you to step

back and look at whats happening around you……..

So when you feel lost or unsure if you are going where you want,

thats not a bad thing, embrace that and ask your self …….did I

do things today that move me closer or further away from what I

want to do, where I want to be or to the things I want to achieve?

—— Just Like Mark Has Done ——-

Monday was a great day for me “work-wise”……because I love

nothing more than coaching in the morning with a busy fitness camp full of

smiles!

Then back to the studio for 1-1 and semi private coaching where you

meet people who are on their own journey….doing very cool things.

Ultimately for me getting results like Mark.

I don’t care so much that he lost 13lbs in his first week with me,

as I know this  isn’t a good measure, much of that will be due to him detoxifying

over the last 7-10days.

But whats awesome is that he messaged me to tell me that he had

lost 2.5 inches off the waist, feels great and his girlfriend said

she can see differences already! (WINNER)

People are virtually “high-5-ing” him all over social media, its

nice to watch!

—- tomorrow I will tell you a few things —-

Yep, a little insight into some of the things I have been trying

with Mark to speed up the detox…..not so much the weight loss

because I know that will be a natural consequence of him becoming healthy.

The detox process really fascinates me and is an area in my opinion

I know more than most.

Not enough, but I know I change lives with this information.

So be sure to keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for that!

Til then embrace each small victory you have that takes you closer

to where you want to be.

My best

Matt
