A New Beginning

Last weekend was a big one…….

Not so much for what happened in a physical sense……

I always strive to improve what we do on a professional basis.

So Mike and I headed off to our latest CPD adventure……

Do you remember when you felt like a beginner at something?

……..

Well yep I gotta be honest I did…….

That is PRECISELY why I booked on the course…..

What really surprised me is how this felt…..

Its been two years since I felt like that and WOW it was

REFRESHING…….

Suddenly my approach was very focused, I had little experience and was like a sponge for information….

I actually love it when I am in a room full of people smarter than me…..

That is why when I socialise I would far rather be in the company of people who are not fitness professionals……I learn so much more that way!

One of the dangers of the “expert” mindset is  we can get lazy and repeat habits.

IT GOT ME THINKING ……..

A passion of mine which I am VERY open about is helping people to reap the benefits of improving themselves through exercise, nutrition and lifestyle coaching.

Whether you are a beginner to this Exercise Or “Healthy Living” stuff or perhaps you are veteran to it……….

Here are a four things you can do:

  1. Just accept that you are not an expert at this stuff. You don’t know it all, no one does. I study health and fitness every day…..yep I read every day (except on holiday) and as soon as you do this you will automatically become super receptive to good quality coaching.
  2. Ask your coach more questions. Yep, and if you don’t have a coach that’s cool, but don’t just believe what you read in muscle and fitness or women’s fitness. I have written articles for magazines and newspapers, they bend that stuff all ways and sometimes mess it up. Questions are very cool, which is why at the end of EVERY Blast Fitness Camps session I offer my clients the chance to ask questions.
  3.  Consider your fitness and health as a continuous journey and not just a 4 week or 6 week programme. NOW sure we run programmes like that, because this helps people like get started. Just like one of my mates Ben, who lost 11lbs and 3 inches off his waist in 21 days on my 6 week online programme. Its cool to have short term goals and I think that’s important, but health and fitness is a journey, a lifestyle and unless you view it like that, you will be disappointed in the long run.
  4.  Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Any fitness professional worth knowing as a person will help you in any way they can. Even if they cant work with you personally ask them to read their blog. Mine is over here if you want to check it out…….http://www.mattluxtonhealthandfitness.com

To be fair this mindset is something that has been impressed upon me by our newest members recently.

CHECK OUT A COUPLE OF THE RESULTS TOO…….

——An Opportunity for You, To Become Our “Health and Fitness Beginner”——-

Hey and guess what, why not pretend you are a beginner and see if it changes your mindset to whatever aspect of your lifestyle you need to address.

We have a VIP Trial Week starting on October 6th in Launceston and Tintagel.

https://mattluxton.leadpages.net/blastexperienceweek/

This is a great opportunity for you to come and try us 100% risk free. If you aren’t sure if it will be for you, this is ideal.

Before you commit 110% to the full programme, which I know you will love.

Use this 7 days to come and see why so many people now make Blast Fitness Camps a part of their lives.

It won’t be for everyone, because we want to get results like you see above and they don’t happen without a bit of change and hard work, and some people aren’t prepared to do that.

That’s totally cool as well.

However, if you are ready to make that change…..here is your chance.

We have limited spaces for this so hop on it asap and apply for your place before we fill up the spaces left.
