6 of My Best Incase You Missed Them

I hope you have had a cracking week.

Keeping it simple today…..

But hopefully just some food for thought.

Here’s 3 things to help you get what you want….not what someone else wants…..what you want.

I have experienced these 3 first hand recently!

Loosen Your Grip On What’s Not In Your Control

Seriously stop stressing over it. Sure we all get exposed to unexpected stress from time to time, and your overall health will help you deal with that, but if you cannot determine the outcome, leave it!

I had to recently, with a business venture that I was hoping to finalise upon returning from Cambodia, when I got back someone had beaten me to it…oh well move on, back to what I can control!

Focus Your Energy On What Is In Your Control

  1. your sleep (most of the time, it can be difficult with shifts and children I know).
  2. What goes into your mouth……unless of course you live with a ‘feeder’…you know one of those people that get thrills from over feeding their partner.
  3. The number of times you exercise and how much you give when you are there.

For me I have recently had to refocus on my training again after my experience abroad, having to really nail my nutrition to help my liver after taking malarone to prevent malaria.

Jeez I felt rough when I got back, thankfully I got right back into it and used a few ninja tricks to help my liver and within 7-9 days I felt buzzing again!

Strive For Excellence Not Perfection

Don’t try to be perfect, no one is, not even Kate Middleton!

Perfection is a state that no one knows, excellence is really about trying to be the best you can and improving on what you are and do.

In my eyes anyway!

Just try to be bloody good at what ever makes you happy!

If being energized, feeling vibrant and being full of the beans (NOT H**NZ) to  do what ever you fancy gets you going, then start doing the things that help you get there.

If waking up in the morning feeling lethargic, fuzzy minded, sluggish, sleepy,  sick and generally crap about life,  annoys you then change something.

If Nothing Changes, Nothing Changes

I know that you will feel a whole lot better if you start sleeping well, stop watching TV til late, start eating breakfast, stop picking on processed snacks, start eating green vegetables at each meal possible, stop hanging around with negative people, stop putting crap in your body and start to consistently train at the right intensity with people who want to make the most of life.

Its Not About Being An Angel , But We Can Look After The Things Under Our Control.
